Mission Statement

If I think you are an moron, I will say so. If I think your point stinks I will say so, if you manage to tie yourself a nice rope and hang yourself, I will post the event here and comment on your intellectual suicide.

If you don’t like what I say here – you are free to comment – your comment will be published, provided it does not contain obscenities.

This Blog is all about:  General Politics, with a side-dish of Fisking, Satire and Sarcasm.

fisking: is blogosphere slang describing detailed point-by-point criticism that highlights errors, disputes the analysis of presented facts, or highlights other problems in a statement, article, or essay. sarcasm ‘mockery, sarcasm’ is sneering, jesting, or mocking at a person, situation or thing. It is strongly associated with irony, with some definitions classifying it as a type of verbal irony intended to insult or wound — stating the opposite of the intended meaning, e.g. using “that’s fantastic” to mean “that’s awful”. It is used mostly in a humorous manner, and is expressed through vocal intonations such as over-emphasizing the actual statement or particular words. Use of sarcasm is sometimes viewed as an expression of concealed anger or annoyance.

satire is a literary genre, chiefly literary and dramatic, in which human or individual vices, follies, abuses, or shortcomings are held up to censure by means of ridicule, derision, burlesque, irony, or other methods, sometimes with an intent to bring about improvement.[2] It is used in graphic arts and performing arts as well. Although satire is usually witty, and often very funny, the purpose of satire is not primarily humor but criticism of an event, an individual or a group in a clever manner.
